It is a story about the loneliness of the writer and writing. The film is based on and inspired by the book "My Prizes" by the Austrian writer Thomas Berhardt (1931-1989). A well-known author is invited by the Director of a library to talk about his writing, his awards and the prizes he has received. During his talk he will confess in front of the readers who listen to him his unfulfilled dreams and fears, he will tell them about his attempt to find the balance of his inner self through writing and the harmony of words with his own Soul. With the encouragement and help of the readers listening to him in the library, he will free himself from his own demons to find bliss in his own sanctuary:
